Combative Conditioning: 'Conditioning our bodies, physically and mentally, for the violent, intense and high energy that is associated with a determined combative attacker.' Regular Training Mondays, 730pm-10pm:  (ground fighting) Tuesdays, 730pm-10pm:  (ground fighting with weapons)  Wednesdays, 730pm-10pm:  (stand up, close quarters and striking)  Thursdays, 730pm-10pm:  (extreme close quarters, weapons) SUNDAYS, 9am-1130am:  (what ever the students want) As you can see, we train for 2.5 hours at a time, not 45-60 minutes like other gyms.  Our regular daily training is  for students who are serious about learning and developing combative skills. Students must be SERIOUS and able to devote time and effort into learning. We take conditioning and endurance seriously.  Our training allows students to learn new skills, ingrain and fine tune old skills and work on their strengths, speed, flexibility, endurance and their combat mindset on a regular basis. Combatives is not just skill set, IT’’S a life style Skills must be drilled, ingrained and practised often so they become reflective subroutines, instinctive and natural. We must condition ourselves mentally and physically so if we are attacked, our actions are are a simple reflex, not a thought process. It is critical that we are effective enough to immediately stop our attacker. We call this ‘Combative Conditioning'.   Our training is hard and not for everyone. People with known injuries that might prevent them from this type of training should consult their doctor first. There is a good chance that you will sweat, get exhausted and be sore during and after training. Our training courses are similar to military training. Our regular training includes, but not limited to: • Fighting in very little light • Fighting single and multiple attackers • Grappling and Ground Combatives • Ground and Pound • Sparring • Knife Combatives • Fighting with Pugil Sticks • Fighting with Sticks • Fighting with Knives • Acting out and dealing with unscripted and unrehearsed scenarios • Extreme Close Quarter fighting in our 'Room of Doom', which is a 256 square foot fully padded training area with two 36 inch hallways, main room and an anchored bench seat to help simulate being attacked inside a bathroom stall, a stair case and even between two parked vehicles. • Learning to fight while seated in a chair. • In vehicle fighting. • Training with strobe lights, loud music and even fog. • Training while under duress and exhausted • Fighting while injured (simulated broken or cut hand or other injured body part) These ‘meets’ start with a 10-15 slow warm up of stretches and callisthenics. Half way through the training there is another 10 minute block of stretches and callisthenics but this one is intense as students are introduced to a series of 'circuit' type training stations that includes 'Old School Callisthenics', weights, Ground Bags, Heavy bags, Hurdles, Sand bags, sparring and pugil sticks.  And lastly, each evening ends with a 10 minute slow down involving  These workouts focus on enhancing one's overall Strength, Speed, Flexibility and endurance. $80 per month ‘Unlimited nights/days’ or $20 per visit First visit is FREE, so come and check us out.
